Study Options in New Zealand
NZSBG offers study options that allow international students to develop leadership characteristics plus real world skills and experiences that employers seek.

You will also gain valuable insights, personal development, and a greater understanding of the world through cultural experiences, travel, and peer interaction. Plus, by completing the programme you will be able to provide prospective employers with a proven track record of success.

Studying abroad is a life-changing experience and New Zealand provides the perfect destination for first-timers or seasoned travelers. 
NZSBG's diploma programmes allow you to specialize in a range of subjects.


Choose from: 
  • Accounting

  • Operations management/supply chain management

  • Marketing

  • Human resource management

  • Leadership

  • Technology management

Study Abroad - Year 1
(get work experience in NZ while studying)
  • 1 year study programme in New Zealand

  • Graduate with the NZIM Diploma in Management (Level 5, 120 credits) (6 papers - all papers also count towards your NZ Diploma in Business)

  • 6 papers to be completed over 1 year / 2 semesters

  • 3 papers per semester (17 weeks) with 1- 2 week breaks between semesters

  • Study at NZSBG and work part-time (up to 20 hours per week)


 Study Abroad - Year 2 
(get work experience in NZ while completing your NZDipBus)
  • Second year - work full-time or continue to work part-time while studying to complete the NZ Diploma in Business (6 papers over 2 semesters)

  • 3 papers per semester (17 weeks) with 1- 2 week breaks between semesters

  • Graduate with the New Zealand Diploma in Business (Level 6, 240 credits - a total of 12 papers)

  • Go on to further study at a University or Polytechnic


 To be eligible for a Graduate Work Search Permit you must:
  • have successfully completed a qualification in NZ that would qualify for points under the Skilled Migrant Category (such as the NZIM Diploma in Management)

  • apply no later than 3 months after the end date of the student visa/permit for that qualification

  • provide financial evidence that you are able to maintain yourself during your 12-month stay in NZ
