About the course
This practical half-day day workshop includes a mix of information about the process, the obligations of managers and advisers, and practical advice to assist performance.
Attention is given to understanding Parliament and the select committee process including protocols and legislative requirements. Attention will also be given to identify the skills appropriate to managing the engagement with the Committee with an opportunity to practice those skills.
The workshop will blend formal learning with discussion and practical exercises. A Select Committee Secretary from the Office of the Clerk of The House will join the workshop for a short question and answer session.
