National Certificate in Public Sector Services (Induction)
Level 3, 43 Credits

This National Certificate is designed to cover the foundation knowledge and skills that are valued in the Public Sector. The course structure and assessment methods recognize that people completing this course of study have many existing competencies, skills and knowledge relevant to their individual roles.

Course Structure:

Our 10 unit course for this qualification comprises the 'first five' compulsory units, four other complementary units we have selected from the 'elective' range of units and a choice of one of the two remaining units – Local Government or Central Government History. You will have access to information in all 11 units but will only need to complete 10 units (in total) in order to qualify for the National Certificate.

You can start this course anytime, and you have 12 months to complete it once you start.

It's a fully online programme - there are no classes to attend. You can join a discussion forum to keep in touch with your online tutor and other online 'classmates'.

What they say

… of all the courses I've taken, it’s one of the most relevant to my job.

This is really something all public servants should be required to do. It is a voyage of discovery into why you are there as a public servant” -
