I am married to publisher Roger Steele. I have 1 son and three step children, and now 2 mokopuna (grandchildren).

I have worked for SBG for almost 10 years, and am now one of the directors – and in charge of academic matters and course development. I’m also in charge of our 661 delivery option.

I have a background in tertiary education – specialising in tertiary teacher development. I have a Masters in Education from Massey University, New Zealand.

Before I worked for SBG I worked in New Zealand’s polytechnic sector – taking a number of senior management roles such as Dean of Humanities for the CIT (Central Institute of Technology).

I love reading and enjoying our beautiful countryside. I also love to travel.

I am keen to make SBG the best training institution of its kind in New Zealand.
