If you want to become an internationally employable professional, the Accounting Technician pathway is right for you!

Accounting Technicians typically work in areas of accounting and finance. As a key support to Chartered Accountants, you'll apply accounting systems, processes and analyse information vital to decision-making. Hands-on experience with all the features of the Financial Management systems and procedures quickly develops your expertise and knowledge, and combined with the academic training on the principles of Accounting, gives you a huge advantage in applying for promotions.

To become a fully qualified Accounting Technician you need to complete two years of tertiary study and must also complete one year of relevant accounting experience before, during, or after your tertiary study. You then complete a short professional competence programme while working.
